Her research focuses on tourism policy, sustainable tourism development, structural change, and tourism corporation.Heike Mayer is a Professor of Economic Geography at the Institute of Geography and a member of the Center for Regional Economic Development (CRED) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, regional development, and innovations from a relational and evolutionary economic geography perspective.
