She received her PHD in Human Geography in 2010 from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Public Policy & Management, Tsinghua University, from 2010 to 2012. Her main research interests are tourism geography, regional tourism development and leisure.
